As tensions escalate between India and Pakistan, members of the film industry are stepping up to express their backing for the Indian Armed Forces and the government.
Vindy Dara Singh
Actor Vindu Dara Singh voiced his support for the government, commending the military's actions. He remarked on how Pakistan's recent moves have inadvertently united Indians from various backgrounds, stating, "Pakistan's strategy backfired by bringing people together across religions and regions. Kashmir was thriving, and this incident has led to unprecedented support for India, even from Kashmiris. This unity among Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians is a significant error on Pakistan's part, and they are now facing the repercussions. Operation Sindoor is remarkable. I previously tweeted my respect for whoever named this operation; it has truly resonated with us. I stand with the government, which has responded brilliantly. Our armed forces deserve all the accolades possible, and we take immense pride in them."
Veteran actor Mukesh Rishi also commended the government's efforts, stating, "I want to extend my gratitude to PM Modi. This situation couldn't have been managed by just a handful of individuals; it required the government's intervention. The measures taken were beyond our expectations."
